Solec International manufactured a solar panel for Westark Inc. using reclaimed semiconductor wafers. Notably, these wafers utilized 50 ohm/cm resistivity material—a significant departure from the industry standard of 1-5 ohm/cm at the time. The photograph is in preparation for the 1983 Ventura County Fair photovoltaic demonstration.
