The Sony JumboTRON AM Solar Radio (Model ICR-JT85 or ICR-JT85k for kit version) is a novelty solar radio produced by Sony Corporation in Japan. Released in 1985 as a promotional item for the unveiling of Sony’s massive “JumboTron” giant-screen display, the name has since become a generic term for large-screen video displays seen at sports stadiums.
