The Bell Telephone Company produced the Bell Solar Energy Experiment kit, the second out of four. It contained the materials to construct a working solar cell. In 1962, the kit was made for high school students to learn about the possibilities in the growing field of solar energy. It included several tests and experiments for the students to conduct.
