IXOLAR SolarBITs were produced by IXYS Semiconductor GmbH as surface-mountable solar cells. They were packaged in tape and reel format for automated pick-and-place machines. This allowed them to be easily integrated into standard circuit board manufacturing processes. They came in a variety of outputs and are now available through IXYS Anysolar.
