The solar cells and panel style are similar to the Solarex Solarvoltaic panel. They used square high efficiency solar cells to make the active photovoltaic area as large as possible. The panels were convertible from 14 or 28 volts at 35 watts of power output. The cells used were 16% efficient and the over all panel efficiency was close to 13%. The cells also have the chevron pattern that are characteristic of early Solarex solar cells.
