Sphelar Stick is a unique solar-powered flashlight that uses 1.8mm silicon spheres to generate power. The micro bead solar cells allow for light to be captured from all directions. Sphelar, founded in 2012 and had posted a Kickstarter for the Sphelar stick in 2016 with a USD 180 retail price. 6-8 hours of sunshine provides a minimum of 30 minutes of light from the flashlight.
