Suntech Solar Panel, 2007, is another solar panel that looks rather ordinary but changed the course of solar power. Suntech was founded by Shi Zhengrong studied at the University of New South Wales’s School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering under Martin Green. After his studies, he formed a new solar panel company that vertically integrated all the components for making solar panels. Thus, reducing the cost of solar panels dramatically and helping lead the world to the low-cost solar power we have today.
