The Synchronar 2100 is a solar-powered watch designed for extreme longevity, with a built-in calendar extending to the year 2100. It was one of the very first solar-powered watches ever made, designed to be worn every day. When it was released in the 1970s, it represented truly space-age technology.
This pioneering timepiece likely used the Solarex micro solar generator to achieve its self-powering capability.
